Between the things we have planned together, we hope you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy Positano however you’d like. Wander without a plan, spend the afternoon by the water, shop, find a table with a view, order another glass of wine—or take a very necessary Italian afternoon nap.
A few ideas for making the most of your time here are below.
APERITIVO WITH A VIEW
Find a terrace, order a spritz and watch the sun go down. Franco's Bar is an iconic favorite for cocktails, music and one of the prettiest views in town.
BEACH FOR THE DAY
Spend a few hours at Spiaggia Grande or wander over to quieter Fornillo Beach. For a little adventure, take the boat to Laurito Beach for a long seaside lunch at Da Adolfo.
WANDER + SHOP
Positano is made for wandering. Explore the little streets and boutiques for handmade leather sandals, beautiful linen, ceramics and things you definitely didn't plan on fitting into your suitcase.
STOP FOR SOMETHING SWEET
Grab a coffee, gelato, granita or a lemon dessert and stay awhile. La Zagara's citrus-filled garden terrace is a lovely stop while exploring town.
HAVE A LONG ITALIAN LUNCH
Pick somewhere with a view, order too much pasta, add a bottle of wine and don't look at the clock. You're in Italy.
STAY OUT LATE
Positano gets even more fun after dark. Have drinks by the water, wander through town or—if you're still going—dance inside a cave at Music On the Rocks.
